To celebrate the release of 2.0, we're doing a contest. It will be similar to the Banana Camera Co contests that we've done in the past. In case you haven't been apart of those, here are the details:

Some Favorite Shots From the Best of @ShakeItPhoto Flickr Group #iphoneography

Have you visited the ShakeItPhoto Best Of Flickr group? It's a group that's full of your favorites (and our favorites, too). Today, we've chosen three out of the more recent ShakeItPhoto pics in the group. Here are the ones we love...

(Later, we'll post our faves from the Best of CrossProcess Flickr group, so go ahead and upload your best shots!)

Want to know where to post your ShakeItPhoto and CrossProcess shots? These are the official Banana Camera Co Groups:

One of BananaCameraCo's Fave iPhoneographers: Robert-Paul Jansen

This post should probably be a lot longer than it is. We are huge, huge fans of Robert-Paul Jansen. He actually won a copy of one of our apps a while ago when we were giving them away via Twitter and has been creating incredible ShakeItPhoto and CrossProcess photos ever since. He's been a part of our BananaCameraCo contests (he won an Honorable Mention) and has always given us great, constructive feedback. If you follow any iPhoneographer, follow Robert-Paul Jansen. You won't be disappointed!

Check out how beautiful these photos are. They should be in magazines (do people still read magazines?). I love them all. Taken with CrossProcess & ShakeItPhoto.

Academy Award Winner, Lee Unkrich, Celebrates with @ShakeItPhoto #iphoneography

We are huge fans of Pixar and last night, the director of Toy Story 3, Lee Unkrich, won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature.

We've know that Mr. Unkrich has been using ShakeItPhoto for a while now. He brings "Big Baby" (a scary droopy-eyed tiny, naked doll from the movie) with him and shoots ShakeItPhoto pics of Big Baby's adventures; lounging on the beach in Hawaii, visiting Greecian ruinstraining it to Dublin, hangin' with Michael CeraDon RicklesGeorge Costanza's mom, and even chilling in a big artichoke

Last night, we took a gander at Lee's Twitter and saw that he'd been capturing the night by taking shots with ShakeItPhoto. Big Baby got a new friend that night, too. Congrats, Lee

GQ Magazine: Apps Hipster Girls Should Never Be Without (including @ShakeItPhoto) #iphoneography

Mark Dascoli [twitter] emailed us about this write up in GQ Magazine.
ShakeItPhoto made it into the 'Apps Hipster Girls Should Never Be Without' section. GQ writes that hipster girls will mutter "I'll only ever work in film" as they shake their photos. ;)

(We were also notified that ShakeItPhoto is in the March issue of Playboy. Who will be brave enough to scan us the article?)
